“ANTICIPATION!”

{Poem Book 6}
As a Mother wraps her gifts
to give to her little child,
She ‘anticipates’ their smile
as their ‘happiness’ runs wild.
And so does GOD ‘anticipate’ *
Who longs to give us ‘gifts’, *
With a ‘Heart of Love’ for His children *
He’s preparing them ‘quick & swift’.
If we would but ‘ask’ Him *
but not to please our flesh, *
He’ll gladly give them ‘in His time’ *
as ‘both’ our wills ~ mesh! *
Try to ‘understand’ Him
as He ‘unfolds’ His Plans, *
For He really does Love you
like a Mother who holds your hands.
Holding them ‘back’ awhile
so you won’t get hurt,
For she doesn’t want you
to fall down in the dirt.
Oh, KNOW The Father’s Heart *
& His GREAT Love for you,
As He ‘anticipates’ our coming
& ‘seeks’ to help us through!
As He knows our ‘best’ interests
& when we ‘need’ the answer, *
So, be wise my friend & ‘wait’ *
& ‘Love Him’ ~ ever after. *
