"COMPLAINING?"

{Poem Book 5}
Sometimes we spend so much time complaining
we 'miss' God's Blessings when they pass by,
Help us, Lord, to Honor & Praise You
then we will not have to cry.
Cry because we 'missed' it
'uncaring' in our hearts,
Lack of 'love' for others
'wanting' to depart!
We complain so very badly
or 'snub' others when they come,
No wonder we can't 'grow'
& those 'bad habits' ~ can't overcome!
How 'unlike' CHRIST we really are
& He must deal with us like babies,
Until we change our hearts
& rid it of those 'ifs' & 'maybes'.
Maybe we will love you
if you act like us,
Conforming to our will
instead of being kind & just. *
We must be God's 'servants'
being 'considerate' of others' feelings,
Kind & gentle toward them
while on our faces kneeling.
Not acting like we're better
while being rude & unkind,
Causing 'grief' in our FATHER
Whose Eyes are 'never' blind!
He see's how we're acting
& is weeping bitter tears,
Because He wants to love through us
instead of spending 'wasted' years!
For we 'waste' so many years
with our 'gossip' & complaining,
While souls are out there dying
& our Churches are only 'waning'!
NEVER 'GROWING' - NEVER 'BEARING' ~
'GOOD FRUIT' FOR HIS KINGDOM!

God has spent a lot of time 'weeping' over Israel's sin & rebellion; I
wonder what would happen if we spent half as much time weeping
for those who have sinned against us!
