“EASIER!”

{Poem Book 4}
It is ‘easier’ to give advice *
when you aren’t hurting so,
To ‘tell’ someone to "TRUST!"
When ‘pain’ ~ you do not know!
They look at you in wonder
& shake their weary head,
For if the situations were reversed *
you too, might wish that you were dead. *
For to be ‘able’ to comfort others *
you must first ‘be’ comforted,
And God ~ in His Tender Mercy
has ~ by The Spirit ~ led.
He leads us to ‘The Comforter’ *
Who will never leave,
Giving us strength & endurance
so God’s ‘Grace’ we can receive. **
We must ‘see’ our HELPLESSNESS *
before we can ask for God’s help,
As only then will we seek Him *
or let out a great big yelp!
God called us out of darkness *
into His ‘glorious’ Light,
That we might show to others:
only ~ with Him ~ can we WIN this fight.
So ‘comfort’ one another *
& ‘spur’ each other on, *
Be ‘tenderhearted’ ~ full of mercy *
& sing a ‘joyful’ song! *
Then when you come upon one hurting
you can help their burden bear,
Instead of just ‘pat answers’
you can stand with them in prayer.
For you also know their hurts
just like Jesus did, *
As He suffered much affliction
yet He never ran & hid.
He ‘boldly’ came before The Father
& sought His Strength to win,
And to free His failing brothers *
from all their deep dark sin. *
So please make ‘intercession’ *
before the Throne of Grace,
He’ll show you ‘how’ to pray
as you seek His Face.
He’ll help us ‘fit into HIS Plans’ *
that ‘others’ we might show:
JESUS is the ONLY WAY *
& there’s only ONE PLACE they can go.
One Place to go for ‘Comfort’
& One Place for ‘Peace’ & ‘Rest’, *
Just trust Christ to help you
to do your very best.
