Everyone has 'emotions'
we all need to 'let off steam',
When the 'pressure' is way past boiling
all we want to do is 'scream'!
But, what we scream makes the difference
between a 'sinner' & a 'saint',
Sinners 'curse & swear' at you
but saints yell, "Help, Lord, I can't!"
No, we can't 'control' our emotions
when we're in 'great distress',
That's why we ask for JESUS' help
to 'cool' our temper in this mess!
He'll help you 'calm' yourself
if you 'really' want to,
But, if you give in to that 'old nature'
there's nothing He can really do.
For all CHOICES in life are up to us
it's really your 'decision',
To let CHRIST help you 'react in love'
or let 'self' respond in 'derision'.
Take this advice from
someone whose been through it,
JESUS IS our ONLY help
or else they'll say, "You blew it!"
