Interruptions, interruptions
all through the day,
People ‘stopping’ our work
with ‘things’ to say!
Did you know GOD sent them
to interrupt you,
So you’d learn to be patient
& loving & true?
We whine & we cry
& we yell & we scream,
Till finally we ‘learn’
our ‘tempers’ to lean!
To ‘lean’ on The Master
Who ‘calls’ us to have ‘self-control’,
To learn to ‘love’ interruptions
as it’s ‘good’ for the soul!
It teaches us Kindness
anytime ~ anywhere,
As God, too, will interrupt us
so don’t despair!
Sometimes He calls us
in the middle of the night,
To PRAY for a ‘brother’
whose ‘losing’ their fight!
He may call you at dawn
or in the middle of dinner,
To PRAY for a ‘sister’
whose not a winner!
Interruptions will come
like it or not,
So PRAY we’ll ‘accept’ them
as God’s ‘precious lot’!
To teach us to ‘stop’
& ‘listen’ & ‘pray’,
For the one He sends
to interrupt our day!
