"RICH OR POOR?"

Are you 'rich or poor', my friend?
Well, it depends on where you LOOK?
Are you looking down HERE BELOW *
Or up 'ABOVE' or in THE BOOK?
THE BOOK of Life will tell you
how very 'rich' you are. *
If you're Trusting Jesus *
you've found a great TREASURE - by far! *
The TREASURE of His 'LOVE'
that's sure ~ to hold you fast,
And the TREASURE of His 'Patience'
to help 'free' you of your past.
There is the TREASURE of His 'STRENGTH'
& His 'UNDERSTANDING', too,
BOTH are there to 'help'
& to 'Guide' you through.
Focus on those things ABOVE *
& not on 'things' below,
Then you'll come to realize
earthly riches will have to go!
They will 'disappear' One Day *
then where will your 'TREASURE' be?
I pray you've sent it on to Heaven
so 'rich in CHRIST' you'll always be.
To be 'rich' down here below *
you must be 'content & good', *
Caring about 'other folks'
& DOING what you should. *
Do you have enough to eat
& clothes upon your back?
Trust & lean on CHRIST alone
& DO NOT let ~ old Satan attack!
Atack you with 'greed'
wanting more & more & more,
Instead ~ hold on to 'GOD'
Who has 'better things' in store!
If we but WAIT upon Him
He will see us through ~
Those 'hard times' where we're tested
to see ~ "What will we do?"!
Will we begin to 'cheat & steal'
or trust CHRIST ever-more,
Allowing Him to supply our need
while loving Him all the more!
Oh, LOVE & WORSHIP & ADORE
the greatest TREASURE of them all,
Then One Day we'll meet again
in that great big 'City' hall!
To 'behold' our Lord & Savior
yes, our very 'best' Friend,
To live with Him 'forever'
where there is NO END!!!
