The 'gift of forgiveness'
is offered by CHRIST, *
It's FREE to ALL
& will 'free our life'. *
Christ paid for this 'gift' *
so He could offer it to you,
Tell me, dear friend - WITH IT -
what will YOU do?
Will you RECEIVE it today *
Or will you 'throw it away'?
Will you REJECT His 'free gift'
He paid with His Life,
To live in this world
full of hatred & strife?
Or will you ACCEPT it today
And let JOY come your way? *
Living & trusting in God up above
Full of Mercy & Tender Love? *
As He hung there on the Cross that day
Spat on, rejected & turned away?
His Love knew no bounds *
His 'Mercy' was great,
He 'forgave' from the Cross *
all those full of hate.
Tell me, dear friend,
can you do the same, *
All those of His *
who 'wear His Name'?
Let 'Truth & Justice' prevail today *
'forgive' & 'be forgiven', *
Seek to walk the 'narrow' way *
so we'll all meet up in Heaven.
If you think you can't forgive
well, neither can I,
Unless I let 'Christ in me' *
'rule' from the sky.
Only 'His Love in me'
can help me to live as I would,
To be 'able' to DO
all that I should!
For one day I finally realized:
How wicked & sinful I was
yet - HE LOVED ME! - *
Before - when it was Him I despised -
a wicked one - sadly lacking in love.
