YOUR_HEART

(This Poem is based on Hebrews 3-4)

Harden not your hearts, I pray

Repent & come back to Him TODAY!

Or like Israel of old in the wilderness

Who constantly complained & didn't pass the test;

Were led astray & turned away

to idol worship & unbelief,

And suffered great loss

& also much grief.

Do you hear God's Voice today?

Please, don't rebel & turn away!

For there is ETERNITY in view

And Heaven is waiting, just for you.

Oh come, oh come, to Christ TODAY,

Come & please do not delay;

For hearts are hardened when we wait,

Then we won't make it through The Gate.

For it's on JESUS we must depend,

Our sins to forgive & our souls to win.

So we can live in Heaven Above,

Forever abiding in His great LOVE.

Oh, is it true we're on the verge

of NOT making it to Heaven?

Hebrews 4 says to beware of bread

that's full of leaven [sin].

Whatever do you mean by this

for to hear is to believe!

Oh, don't fool yourself, my friend

it is CHRIST you must believe!

Our FAITH is PROVED by our good works

& talk is always cheap,

But on Judgement Day to come

many will stand & weep;

For they but 'said' they did believe

but didn't WALK His Way,

So now to Heaven they'll fail to go

for they did disobey!
